European Falcon Movement Network Meeting, 26-30 March in Belgium

Woodcraft Folk is excited to join other European IFM-SEI members at the next European Falcon Movement Network meeting i Brussels, 26th-30th March 2020.


IFM-SEI have successfully attracted funding to support the network to come together to share practice and support international solidarity. For Woodcraft Folk this will be a great opportunity to promote Common Ground and demonstrate international friendship.


The agenda has yet to be agreed: Do you have suggestions of topics for this European Network?

The theme of this year's Winter School is "Living and loving diversity – Countering right wing populism and hate speech“

The seminar will take place in the youth Kurt Löwenstein Education Center, the SJD-Die Falken’s education center in Werftpfuhl, near Berlin, in Germany. This is both where the educational programme will take place and the accommodation is located.

A big thank you to Woodcraft and everyone who supported the 2019 StopDSEI campaign.

Woodcraft made a big impact at the StopDSEI campaign in September with a peace kitchen and support for the welfare tent.  We supported a large number of campaigners enabling them to continue their actions against the arms trade.

Get Excited For Common Ground!

Common Ground is getting closer!! Which means it is time to start finding out about what will be happening at the camp! This might be your first international camp in the UK with Woodcraft Folk or you may have been looking forward to this since CoCamp! The Common Ground board would like everyone to share our excitement and find out more about what to expect at the camp. Our camp is going to be split up into villages (where we will all sleep/eat with our districts, friends and international delegations) and Commons which will be central spaces for all to enjoy.

We're pleased to announce that the winner of this year Membership Badge competition is Scarlett an Elfin from Dulwich Wood Elfins, Clapham District. We received 543 votes and the chosen design received over 214 of them.

Folk Office opening hours this Xmas

Folk Office will be closed from 12pm on Tuesday 24th December and will re-open on the Thursday 2nd January with a skeleton staff team until the 6th January.
