Sponsor a brick campaign

Friday, 16 August 2019

At Biblins we are approaching the end of our second successful camping season - visitors numbers have been increasing from roughly 17,000 in 2017 to nearly 25,000 in 2019.

But work does not stop when the last canvas is packed away at the end of the Summer. The Biblins Management Committee have plans and are seeking to respond to requests from our regular visitors. This Autumn volunteers will be working with staff and contractors to:

- Introduce 3 new washing up stations

- Plant 400 trees, continuing to herd walkers on to the public footpath and away from campers

- Increase access to electricity on site by installing an array of solar panels

If funding allows we will also look to reduce the amount of gas used on site to hot water by adding additional solar panels to the current toilet blocks.

All of this activity would not be possible without our volunteers, are paying guests and those generous individuals who sponsor our work.

If you would like to sponsor this development activity at Biblins, you might like to sponsor a brick and record a message for future site users. Please see attached leaflet about sponsoring a brick - individually, as a group, in memory of someone or as a company.

If you would like to discuss brick sponsorship or any other support for the site please contact michael.lawrence@woodcraft.org.uk
