Update 09 May 2020: the pilot phase is now over and the guidance is available for use at the hyperlink below. Please do continue to share any feedback with Ros at the email address below.

We are looking for Group and District treasurers (including new treasurers) to try out our new financial records guidance.

The guidance is a set of documents designed to take new and less experienced treasurers through how to keep financial records for a Group or Districts. The guidance should also be useful for treasurers who’d like a refresher or to learn new ways of working.

The guidance includes a Google Sheet for you to record your income and expenditure in. We’ll be able to access your Google Sheet at the same time as you so we’ll be able to provide help and advice on a real time basis. There are two versions of the guidance - one with cash and one without.

The guidance is already live on the Woodcraft website and can be viewed here - https://woodcraft.org.uk/keeping-financial-records-etc.

If you’re interested in helping us test out the new guidance, please get in touch with Ros (finance volunteer) ros.epson@woodcraft.org.uk. Thank you, Ros and Roland (national treasurer)
