Safeguarding Training

All staff and volunteers who work regularly (more than once a month) with children and young people, or attend an overnight stay, are required to undertake training. This training can be delivered internally, online or through your Local Safeguarding Children Board. See below a list of all of our online training oppurtunities and guidance documents.

Child protection for new groups

Woodcraft Folk have a Safeguarding Policy, which you should read and follow. You can read it here along with other useful documents relating to safeguarding: www.woodcraft.org.uk/safeguarding.

Local safeguarding plans

Below are examples of District safeguarding plans. All Districts are required to create their own safeguarding plan - you can download the template for your District safeguarding plan below. Contact Debs McCahon if you need support to develop your safeguarding plan.
