Run an assembly at school

It can be quite a daunting thing to run an assembly, but it is a really good way to get a much wider group of people involved in the issues you might normally discuss at you Woodcraft Folk group. Doing it with some friends, other woodcraft folk members for example, can make it much easier, but whether you do it alone or with friends, hopefully you will find these tips useful.

Oxford Woodcraft Folk will be at the Green Fair selling things that young people from our Venturers, Pioneers, Elfins and Woodchips groups have made.  This year the Woodchips will be making seasonal window decorations from mainly recycled materials with an added dollop of glue and glitter.  The money raised will be used to help a delegation from an economically poorer country join us on Co-Camp next summer.  We also use the opportunity to raise our profile locally.  Please come along and say hello!
