First Aid Training in Diss

Is your first aid certificate expiring soon? Have you never done a course before? Feel like you need a refresh? Join us for a day of free training provided by Good Skills. We will cover all basic first aid and speak about scenarios that will be very useful when at group nights or away at camp.

The results are in for the 2020 Membership Badge Competition

We're pleased to announce that the winner of this year Membership Badge competition is Scarlett an Elfin from Dulwich Wood Elfins, Clapham District. We received 543 votes and the chosen design received over 214 of them.

Folk Office opening hours this Xmas

Folk Office will be closed from 12pm on Tuesday 24th December and will re-open on the Thursday 2nd January with a skeleton staff team until the 6th January.

Vote for your favourite Membership Badge design 2020

Earlier this year we asked our members to take part in this year’s Membership Badge competition. The theme was ‘International friendship’. We had over 200 entries from 23 District and we’d like to take this opportunity to thank all those members who submitted a design. They were all fantastic and the “secret panel’ had a hard time choosing the finalists.

The Great Biblins Flood

From early on Friday 25th October until late on Saturday 26th October, the rain fell constantly and heavily over Biblins camp site.  More importantly, it also fell on the hills and mountains of Wales, filling the many streams and tributaries of the River Wye.  By the Sunday (ironically, a gloriously sunny day), the River Wye at Biblins was showing distinct signs that it was putting on weight!!

General Council recently met for the first time since Annual Gathering at our Darsham Centre to discuss all things Woodcraft. They've put together this great video to introduce themselves to you and update you on the exciting things that are going to be happening in our movement over the next few years.
